The products sold by Scanixx are intended for lawful and responsible use only. By purchasing or using products from Scanixx, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for ensuring that your operation of drones and related equipment complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Scanixx makes no representations or warranties regarding the legality of using our products in your jurisdiction.
2. FAA Regulations
- In the United States, drone operations are regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
- Commercial use generally requires compliance with FAA Part 107 regulations and, in some cases, additional waivers.
- You are solely responsible for registering your drone with the FAA, obtaining the necessary certifications, and operating within approved airspace.
3. No-Fly Zones & Restricted Airspace
- Certain areas (e.g., airports, military bases, national parks, and critical infrastructure) are classified as restricted airspace.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that you do not operate drones in No-Fly Zones or areas restricted by federal, state, or local authorities.
4. Safety & Liability
- Improper operation of drones may result in property damage, personal injury, or legal consequences.
- By using products purchased from Scanixx, you agree that Scanixx is not liable for any accidents, injuries, damages, fines, penalties, or losses arising from your use or misuse of the products.
- You must follow all safety guidelines provided by the manufacturer and the FAA.
5. Export Compliance
- Certain drones and related technologies may be subject to U.S. Export Control laws (ITAR/EAR).
- Customers are responsible for compliance with all export restrictions when purchasing products for use outside of the United States.
- Scanixx assumes no responsibility for shipments seized, delayed, or rejected by customs authorities.
6. Product Modifications
- Unauthorized modifications, software alterations, or third-party repairs may void manufacturer warranties and can create unsafe operating conditions.
- Scanixx disclaims all liability for products that have been modified from their original manufacturer condition.
7. Training & Certification
- Certain commercial applications (e.g., aerial inspections, agriculture, mapping, or search and rescue) may require specific training, licensing, or permits.
- Customers are responsible for obtaining all required certifications before using drones for commercial purposes.
8. Assumption of Risk
By purchasing and using products from Scanixx, you acknowledge and accept that:
- Drone operation carries inherent risks.
- You assume full responsibility for these risks.
- You release Scanixx from any and all liability related to product use.
