Multispectral UAVs measure reflectance across green, red, red edge, and near-infrared light bands, revealing crop stress, disease, vegetation density, and soil variability that standard cameras miss entirely. The result is precise, georeferenced data that drives smarter decisions on irrigation, fertilisation, and treatment — reducing inputs and improving yields.

The DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral combines a 20MP RGB camera with four 5MP multispectral sensors and a pre-mounted RTK module, covering up to 200 hectares per flight with centimeter-level accuracy. Compatible with DJI Terra and the SmartFarm Platform, it generates NDVI, GNDVI, and NDRE vegetation index maps and feeds directly into DJI Agras variable-rate spraying workflows.

For dedicated payload-based multispectral solutions, the Sentera and Parrot Sequoia collections extend these capabilities to a wider range of enterprise platforms.
