The DJI Matrice 350 RTK and Matrice 400 paired with the Zenmuse L2 or the newly released Zenmuse L3 represent the current benchmark in aerial LiDAR. The L2 delivers 1.2 million points per second with 5-return penetration for construction monitoring and corridor mapping. The L3 pushes further with 2 million points per second, up to 16 returns, and a 950-metre detection range for large-scale surveying, forestry, and infrastructure mapping at scales previously requiring far more expensive equipment.
